Trim around roof??

The trim around my roof is coming off across the windshield. Its supposed to rain tonight and rather hard. Should I worry about leaking?

Whoa! What happened there? I'd fix that really soon before it gets a lot worse. And it WILL get a lot worse.

Not sure, I went to NY for a concert, and spent the night at a hotel in Newark. when i got back to the hotel at 2am i was just worried about going to bed. when i woke up, i saw that it wasnt right. then i think that 175 miles of highway home didnt help at all.

That can be fixed or replaced pretty cheaply. I'd do it. If your car is under warranty, take it in. Tell 'em the wind did it.

Jeremy, do you have any of the blue painters tape? Go ahead and use that temporairly. It is supposed to rain tomorrow as well. Go to a windshield place and claim it to insurance.

Duct tape works great too. And it looks bad-***.

True, I was just thinking of the glue you have to take off from removing the duct tape. That painters tape doesn't leave that residue, but is also not meant to be on there very long. There is that tape they use on windshields when they put new ones in. I don't know what it is though.

I was joking! Don't use DT on your car. Painter's tape should be fine, as long as the rain isn't too crazy.

I thought you were serious. I was thinking, man I hope Jeremy doesn't use duct tape.

Ok, so this morning mi padre attempted to wedge it back it, it looks like its in right, the headliner is dry (even after the rains last night) so I'm gonna leave it for a day or two, if after that it looks like its still not in there right. I will be heading to MoT for the fix.

Get a quote first and than check out a local windshield place. It may just be an adhesive issue.
