More and More Mini's
Has anyone noticed an Amazing Increase of Mini's as of late? I bought my first Mini in June of 2002 and I never saw another one on the road. Now I see at least 10 a day! I once counted 22 Mini's throughout one day!!! Is it just me or does this bug anyone else too? I liked being really different from everyone else! Now Seams like I just blend in. =/

i motion that wave too. its ok to see more mini's, mine is 06' hehehe, but mini drivers seem a little different, say cool. we care of our thoughts and only our thoughts along with other mini riders, not like others who care about other peoples thought, so worldly but mini riders will pave the road to new path. more minis = more compassionate peoples.
making the road a better place, one mini at a time.....

There is definately an increase of people driving MINIs, but you also have to remember that many people buy these cars as an appliance. There is no compassion about it, its just something to drive them around. Its like in the Corvette world, you have people who care about their cars and love them (us), but then again you get the people who buy them just because my husband has alot of money.

Yes - definitely seeing LOTS of MINIs on the road...I always wave but get very few waves in return.
In fact, we have brand new neighbors across the street - the son drives a CR/W - NO WAVES yet and I've been out in the driveway many times - looked right at him and he doesn't even turn his head... I might just have to go pay a neighborly visit in person..

Yea, it's interesting. In the last two days, I've been immediatly behind or in front of another MINI. I'm thinking to myself, this is like an impromtu rally....cool. But no, the other driver doesn't wave back or seem to notice that a second MINI is there. I guess eventually those who buy a MINI because it's some trendy item will move on and leave the truly enthusiastic nuts like the rest of to ourselves. Waving should be back in vogue then.

The NJ wave is occasionally hard to see because it's only one finger...
I wave. At Minis, and at A1 VW's. Recognize, however, that some people buy Minis because it's a good fun car, not because they want to be in some sort of social club. Me? I'm somewhere in between, I guess. But I always wave, even in New Jersey.
(oh yeah, before you flame, I'm from NJ... parents, sister, etc.!)
