I think I just named my MINI

Deicide. Literal translation is 'genocide of the gods'. A definition is 'killing of a god'. I think my MINI has a name .

Edit -- Since its posted a bit down, I'm putting the final name in this post. Itercide.

actually, i dont listen to death metal, ever! i listen to Modest Mouse/Wolf Parade/Stella Starr*/Death Cab for Cutie/The Starting Line...all very upbeat idie rock, DCfC is alittl emo, but they have a nice sound. I heard it on a show on discovery channel and the word stuck with me. The 'gods' would be replaced with either twisties or lesser (all other) cars.

It's your MINI, my friend, so naming it is your privilege. Deicide is a pretty strong word, though....and not particularly up-beat. My opinion, though...

since dei is a harsher term to start with (god), im 90% sure its name will be Itercide, which is a combination of a latin term used with 'road', and 'cide'
from 'cida' meaning to kill. so Itercide means 'to kill a road' which is what i was really looking for.

That's better, brain. Almost got it that time. Now... just change the "too" to "to" and you're there.

Just messin' with ya ! That "beath" thing was more of a typo than a grammatical error. People who never make typos are people who never type.

Besides, communication is the art of expressing oneself so the receiver understand the message. You accomplished that... I think.
