Anyone know what dealers are still taking orders for 06's? I'm considering ordering one if there are. We'll keep the 03 S JCW we have, but sell our e46 M3. And maybe the Audi.... gotta have a mod budget .

 

as far as i know, orders can still be placed for an 06' MINI, but probably not for too much longer, go now

 

I guess it depends on allotments. As far as I know, our local dealer is done, but I heard there are other dealers with bigger allotments that are still taking orders. I just wonder which ones to call?

 

ordered one on Saturday from Patrick Mini in Schaumburg, IL. they made it sound like I'd be able to order through the end of September (and maybe into October).

 

My MA at Downtown Mini in Orlando Florida said they are taking orders for the next two months

 

Downtown MINI moves a lot of cars thru that little shop, they are going to have to move next year sometime according to the boss. I think they said they could order until only about the middle of Sept., so you'd better hurry. I bought mine off the showroom. They had 2 nice JCW packages run thru there on cancelled orders too, the last was CR with a nice option package, ask for Larry. They must get a large allotment of cars, delivery in about 6 weeks, too.

I just ordered from Classic in Ohio last week (I think it was last week...) The MINI dealer near Minneapolis, MN said they'd be taking orders into Sept last I talked to them, but that was a while ago. Might need to call around.

 

Good to know there are some. Denver is moderately close to us (17 hrs away) and may be our option.

Are there any West coast folks that just ordered?

Just ordered an 06 on Friday. Of course my dealer is a good boat ride from you.

 

I just talked with MINI of Peabody, MA (our '06 is now in the body shop, woohoo!), and they are still taking orders.

 

I'm just trying to catch up with your car count.

Seriously... I just can't seem to ignore the desire to get an 06, done just like I want it. PS/PS - Anthracite interior, english panther leather, , BBS RGR wheels (or PIAA knock offs in hyper black), tint, suede works steering wheel, piano black dash, works, or a number of other M7, ALTA and Madness mods.

But I cannot have 5 cars at once! As much as I might like to. 4 is pushing it.... and the wife is tolerant but I best not press my luck.

Anybody wanna buy an Imola Red e46 M3 for 35K? 2002? It's babied and has some nifty CF AC Schnitzer bits? (No this is not an ad, I'm kidding. Well sort of...)

 

Rasmussen MINI in Portland does still have a few slots left for 06 production. Almost gone though!!

 

Towne in Buffalo, NY can order through October from what my MA told me. I just ordered an MCS there on Monday. I recommend them if you don't care about where the car comes from.

 

ordered mine on saturaday and they said the 06s have about one and a half weeks till they stop producing them.

 

I ordered mine last wednesday, 9-13-2006, from South Bay Mini in SoCal and I still don't have a build number. I sent a second mail to my salesperson today but I think she's off on Thursday. I'm going to call tomorrow but should I be worried? I don't want to miss the window

I ordered from Long Beach Mini and they told me that had allotments thru Oct.

 

Finally got my prodution number today, South Bay Mini say they're manufacturing 2006's through November of this year.
