Wow, just.... Wow!

So, Ive had my MINI for about a week now, and as the title states... wow!

Driving it has been such a blast, more fun than any car Ive ever owned (Formerly my '82 280ZX was my favorite)... Taking turns in the thing is amazing, especially turns on hills, up or down. It literally feels like Im driving on rails into the turn, I sometimes have to peek out my window to see if Im actually on said rails. Driving on the highway is a thing of beauty, buzzing in and out of traffic, you feel like you're one out there just weaving through obstacles. Whenever people ask how I like the car so far, all I can really say is "Its like driving a supercharged Go-cart! No lie".

I will have had mine for 10 months in just a couple of days and I can honestly say I still feel the same way you do with yours!

So look forward to many more happy feelings and awesome drives down the road (no pun intended)!

I don't see an end in site!

four years and 78,000 miles and I still feel the same way. Watch out for the mod bug: once bitten, it's terminal (and contagious!)

Agreed, 3 years and 64,000 miles and you will only gets better. Like any other skill, the more you do it, the better you get, the more you start to wish for a bit more!!

Do some AutoX and track time with instructors, and you'll feel so much more in control on the street.

My MINI is about as best as it's going to get for me, that's why my new wheels are coming tomorrow. LOL

Congrats on your new MINI!!

You should consider a rear swaybar & supercharger pulley as you next mods!

The best 2 mods you can do to your MCS.

When people ask...

how do you like the Mini?

I just say, "you can't take the grin off your face when driving it..."

or

"It's the most fun you can have with any car at any price.."

I'm only the part time driver, it is my wife's...but after 3 months, it gets better every time I start her up!

Congrats on your MINI! Hope you enjoy yours as much as I've enjoyed driving mine. Get ready though, to start fielding the usual questions about the gas mileage, etc. Just smile and drive off!!

Yea, most people will start out with "How is it on gas?". Im like "how is it on what, now?" While its a nice perk, its the last thing on my mind.

Which new wheels are you getting. I really like the 12.7 lb BBS wheels that Tire Rack has. Won't be getting them though cause they're over $400 each.

Congrats, jmmas! The smiles will keep on coming.
It'll be 14 months with my 2005 MCS this Monday. 28,000+ of the BEST driving miles in my 25 years of driving vehicles.
I smile every day in my MINI.

Can't stop smiling

I went to the dentist the other day. He asked me to stop smiling long enough so I could open my mouth wider to check out my teeth. Not sure when I'll be able to get the full treatment since I don't think I'll stop smiling anytime soon.

My 14 months have only garnered 12,000 miles--I feel cheated! Still, like you they are all miles of smiles

smilin' the miles away,

Wait till you get it on a real track - where you can push it to the point where you think it will brake loose and lose it, but it doesn't Quite an experience
