My MINI bit me!

I was showing some friends my beautiful new MINI tonight when my car bit me! I had put the seats down to demonstrate how much room there is in the back. I've been thinking about buying/making seat pulls, but for now I'm doing without. I stuck my fingers in the hole in the back of the seats (which is obviously not a fingerhold, but I'm dumb sometimes), and I sliced my index finger on something very sharp inside the hole. Obviously I won't do that again, but I was wondering what those holes were for. Anyone know?

Don't know what they are for, but the same thing happened to me about 2 weeks after I picked up mine .

are you talking about the holes on the back of the seat?

Because if they are the ones I'm thinking of, that is where the rear seats get locked back into place.

I have the pulls from My_MINI (<--that's a link) in Pompano Beach, FL. They work great, easy install & you don't have to bend down so far to get the seats back up. They also have velcro on the bottom part, so they always stay in place.

I use a couple of bungee cords. 1 end hooks into the dugout with a bar across at the base of the back of each seat (child seat mount?) and the other end wraps around the outside headrest post and hooks onto the other headrest post. Works like a charm, and I already had the bungees.

I've got the same set from MyMini. Do yourself a favor and order them! MyMini is great to deal with. I've ordered several things from them and everything was as expected and quickly shipped.

You are talking about the rear strap holders for straping in a baby seat. It's one of three points.
