We all talk here about the looks, compliments, comments we get about our cars.

But what do you think is the big deal? The contrast roof? The wrap-around looking windows? The big center-mount speedo? The size?

Why do you love your MINI so?

 

I like the size.

 

I love the look of the headlights - besides the rest of the car which I love :smile: :smile:

 

Love the wide 'bulldog' stance.

 

Here's my list:
1st...the short body...it's very eye catching whizzing by
2nd...that happy front grill smiling at you (especially in chrome, IMHO)
3rd...contrasting roof/mirrors...pure whimsy, but looks so right on a MINI
that's from the outside...then they look inside...
1st...the speedo
2nd...the contrasting hard dash

there's more, or course (it just keeps getting better) but that's what I see people being immediately attracted to.

 

Why do I love my MINI?
So MANY reasons:
such a cool exterior shape and design, great combo of retro (classic mini reminiscent) and modern. small size, functionality, mileage it gets, the amazing, amazing handling, interior design and deco, the great features for a reasonable price.
why do others think it's so cool:
design and proportions, size, yes - the contrasting roof - in my case white roof, white mirror caps and white wheels. The relative size of wheels in proportion to body, the short hood. The amazing amount of interior space (in front) and interior deco.

 

There is a crappy car company in the UK who have recently bought out a new model. They say in the adverts that they have "re-invented the car". This is bull sh** as it is just another car, same as any other. That advert got me thinking. All cars are near enough identical, apart from the mini. Just look at the speedo placement for example, or the funky function buttons. THATS what I love about the Mini, its a break from the norm, a break from the boring old way of getting about. Its fun to drive, unlike so many other cars out there. Its like some one had too many drugs and then designed a car for the future, but it worked.

 

I like the Mini because it's not a stamped out appeal to the masses car.

It couldn't fit in if it tried.

German engineering with British style. What more could you ask for?

One of the most important things for me when shopping for a car is the interior. The MINI's interior was in my opinion beatiful and it's ergonomically well designed.

 

I beleive the they are cool because you either love it or you don't..........

I Love the MINI, everything about it......well maybe not the wait to get one....

 

The MINI handles and corners & stops like no other car I've driven. On ramps have never felts this fun. how can a car with only 115hp flat out dust anyone around a turn? I've been cut off TWICE in this car and the handling is so responsive & so tight! All this fun around 19K and great gas mileage! :smile: :smile: :smile: (it's also cool when everyone looks at you driving down the road!)

I love just about everything on it...

 

...because.....the MINI renewed my passion for driving,...errr...Motoring! :smile: :smile:

 

top on the list is the attention to every detail. i get the sense that EVERYTHING was designed just for the mini. most cars today don't feel that way...

that, and it's just fun to drive.
