I just went to the website to check on my MINI's progress and it says it is in production, however I ordered it with the profile leather and all packages, and it shows kaleido cloth interior (yuck) and no soprts package. I called my dealer about this last week and he assured me it was right in their computer and to ignore the website...What do you guys think? Also it's production date is 8/9. Does that mean it begins 8/9 or is finished then???

 

For the first week after my order, the website was claiming my production number was for a completely different color, interior, etc. After a few weeks though it was accurate (although slightly behind on updating status.) My dealer told me my MINI was finished and awaiting transport about a week before the site! Check back to the site in a week or so and see if it is accurate.

 

I've found the site to be behind as well, which is cool because it's nice to find out that it's further along than you expected. you can call 1-866-ASK-MINI to find out very accurate information on your car. The lady told me that the estimated production date, 08/09, is when the car will be finished. Where are you located? I have the same production date as you.

 

Hey, that's my date too... and it's another red MCS, with all the white bits (no sunroof though... after having one for as long as I have had mine, i'm really sick of them)... kinda funny huh?

where are you guys from??? Let's see who gets their mini first. I'm in the Bay Area, California. Call 1-877-ASK-MINI and ask them when they predict you'll get yours, then tell me what they said. She told me September 2nd but I think that's a load.

 

I just received my S from Mini of Mt. View. My car shipped on June 19th, arrived in Southern Cal. on July 14 or 15. I picked it up from the dealer on July 22nd. The dealer told me that the ocean voyage is about 30 days, and about a week to get it to the dealership. So they were pretty close. (weird that Mini of Mt. View is not open on Sunday's though). I hope you get yours sooner! I am having a blast with mine!

 

Also, the website did track well.

 

My car shipped the 13th, was in New York on the 21st.....and is at distribution right now. The website has been wrong for most of this because apparently the shipping company's software is messed up. If your dealer said the boat voyage was 30 days they are messing with you. It around 10-12 days in most cases and then to get to the dealership on the east coast it is something like another week. Add maybe two more if it is getting shipped across country.

 

My delivery date is 7/26 and I just called and it is there......YEA!!!!!
Can't pick it up til Saturday though.....
the owners loungs says it is still at the Distribution Center.

Go figure!!!!

 

My delivery date is this Tuesday....because of what you just told me I will be calling the dealership on Monday or so to see if she is there yet!

 

I am in Minnesota. Waiting for a car very similar to yours. red/white all pakages, leather, chrome...

But my date my dealer told me (the 11 weeks or so I think it was) wuld be at the begining of September. So I'd say mid-september for you (in my un-educated guess)...

I just called 1-866-ASK-MINI and I am still at a 193...I have been that way since July 15th! I don't know what the holdup is-I ordered on June 1, had a production date of July 5th and a delivery date of early August. Hopefully it will leave this weekend.
