AWESOME WHITE MINI from JAPAN

I found this picture on a Japanese MINI website. Check out the front spoiler, custom wheel arches and mirrors.

That is one of the best "looking" MINIs that I have ever seen! I like the spoiler, and the fenders. Oh and the mirrors!

I like the arches, but they remind me of the Nissan Frontier pickup, it has the same thing on it. Everything else about it is amazing.

I'm diggin it.

I like the blocked out headlight interior as a part of the B/W scheme. Nice contrast.

What rims are those? They are awesome. And the body color arches are great looking.

I like the rims, but not the rivets. Too industrial machinery/jeep/frontier for me. Their website has so many awesome cars.

The wheels, I believe, are TechArt, the same ones often mounted as aftermarket rims to porsches.

The car itself, according to the few English bits found on the website, is a twincharge (i.e. it has a turbo); but no details as to whether the kit is from our side of the ocean.

I'd love to see pics of the interior but there doesn't seem to be any.

The car is the product of japanese tuner Bond MINI. For those who can read japanese, more details can be found here:

as much as people might like the mirrors, they're not power, and if people brush them going by, they'll move out of place. my friend regrets he got them on his s2000

I have to look at the full size...
Around here the spliter would get wasted on the dips at intersections and washes. I like the headlights, but too SUV on the rivets.

I'm actually surprised that so many people like the rivets.

Rivets != SUV
Rivets == RACE

The sideskirts and wheel arches are from MS Design. Front is Japanese. Headlight is painted black. Splitter is probably custom. As I've always said, the Japanes get all the good stuff! And yeah those are Techart rims, I have no idea how the hell, they must have cut them and what not, I don't think they make 4x100 rims and I'm pretty sure they don't make 7.5" wide rims!

Here's a bigger picture;

Front on another car?

this man knows what he is talking about. Anyone saying the rivets are too SUV needs to do some reading up on the heritage of the cars they drive. The mini had rivet fenders before SUV's even existed

Tech art doesnt make anything besides porsche fitments......but I'm sure they are just using adapters.

I could care less about the heritage. I drive a 2003 MINI, not a classic Mini. And 2003's are smooth and dont have rivets. The only other modern vehicles with rivets that I know of are trucks and SUVs, and that 90's Honda I saw yesterday. I actually would like the rivets if they were on a burly truck or SUV.

To each his own though - different is good. And yes I would be happy if that MINI was mine. I would just not go that route myself.

Oh yeah, and I dont like reading either.

clearly

i didnt say that one should like them BECAUSE they were on the classic mini. All i said was that they shouldn't be calling them SUV, when they are actually classic british.

I dont even like the rivets...so no need to get your panties in a bunch minitor.
