Do it yourself..
it's not hard. And you can get any oil you want while you're at it! Topping off fluids?
Check coolant
check brake fluid
check power steering fluid
All those done in less than 5 min. If they all need topping, 5 min more.
Oil change, 15-20 min, plus some time to let everything drain.
cost of materials? Less than $45 (using Red-Line oil). Sounds like they're getting well over $300/hr for labor here!
Yikes!

Most of that's for the oil...

That's $43 right there.
If you use Royal Purple or Mobile 1, that will save about $7.50....

That's ridiculous. What dealership, where? I think we should start comparing notes a bit here and then share our knowledge with the dealership when we discuss their pricing.

Sounds way too expensive to me.

Yes it's way too much for an oil change and topping off the fluids. But unlike everyone else who condemns so quickly I want just the facts. Find out what else you get for this $330. If nothing else ask them why they are charging more than 3 times the going rate than other mini dealers charge. If you don't get a reasonable answer then just either do it yourself or find someone who can and will do it correctly.
Next time post all the facts. If you don't know then either call or go in and ask. I find it suspicious that you don't mention the dealer and that can either mean you don't want to bad mouth the dealer since you aren't sure or you're bullshitting everyone just to get some air time. Which is it?

Get yourself an oil drain valve like the one I ordered from -
http://www.fumotovalve.com/
and simplify your own changes. These valves can even be ordered with a nipple so that you can hose the oil away from the bottom of the car to a recepticle. Rather than worrying about getting the correct torque on the drain valve plug and worring about stripping threads, you put this in ONCE, throw the lever, and drain your oil. Very cool.

A $330 oil change is too rediculous for words.
Which dealer did you talk to?

tire rotation on the mini is VERY easy, as the front hack point will lift both the front and rear tires in the air at the same time ( this is one stiff car). just take em off and swap em front to back.

I was in Sears yesterday and they had a 2.5 ton portable floor jack that had its own case for $39.95. This is an EASY thing to throw in the back of the MINI if you do track time. Also, consider a new torque wrench. Buying the jack and wrench (depending upon which wrench you buy) will be about the cost of someone rotating your tires.
I agree with some of the above posts, changing your oil is a piece of cake. Just don't forget to recycle the oil at your local recycling center.
