R50/53 Knock on _____
Knock on _____
I was thinking.
Since we all here are pretty enthused about our MINIs, I had an idea!
Instead of saying, _______, knock on wood, I am going to start saying ______, knock on carbon fiber!
I dont know why, it just sound right for the MINI, and other car enthusiasts! Whos with me?

I really an going to start saying it, knock on CF,
William

Kinda makes you wonder where the whole "knock on wood" thing started anyway. Probably some horse-drawn wagon enthusiast/dork...so I'm thinking updating to cf is long overdue.

How many times have you seen someone try to "knock on wood" and look around in vain for wood when there's none to be found!!

It's probably the closest thing you can reach while motoring.
Doesn't this remind anyone of why some people say you "kick your tires" before you leave?
