R56 with super knocking and a BOV ISSUE

hi there, need some help.

So my car has around 54k on it and just started super knocking.
But the error codes only come up when I have to step on it.

28aa bypass blow off valve, plausibility

2DCA fuel shut off due to super knocking, cyl. 4

2D52 super knocking

Any one know what it could be. I already used sea foam to clean the intake and it's done nothing.

Sea Foam will not do anything. I've proven it by practice. (Of course I didn't take photos )

I ran Sea Foam twice and then removed my intake manifold to take a peak. It looked like I didn't do a damn thing. So I bought myself some equipment and did the walnut shell blast cleaning myself. About 3-4 hours later I have super clean intake valves!

I would get your valves properly cleaned regardless if thats your issue. Hopefully that takes care of your problem. If not, dig further.

The Mini was designed for a deverter valve or re-circulation valve, the BOV vents to atmosphere and all that metered air measured by the MAF sensor is being lost never making it into the engine causing you to run lean. If you didn't add a BOV it could also be a bad a deverter valve or re-circulation valve.

+1 Some good info. Inspect the valve prior to replacement if you don't have an aftermarket BOV. If you do it may be resolved with a DV replacement, or if you don't and it's damaged look into the Forge DV.
