Pre 3/2012 and Post 3/2012 differences?

I’m really interested in getting the JCW Style Aero II body kit for my 2012 but I have been told it wont fit the post 3/2012 mini cooper S (mine is 5/2012) I am curious what the difference is that would make it not fit and if there’s any way around it.

Bump because I'm scratching my head wondering what my options are since I just picked up a post 3/2012 MCS myself.

You can plug the last 7 of the VIN on http://www.realoem.com and it will list what JCW kit will fit.

From what I've been told by MINI is that you will need part #51 19 2 185 856 which is a conversion kit to be able to install the JCW Aero II on post 03/12 vehicles. I run into this while researching the JCW Aero II for my 3/12 build Clubman S.
