What is your best motoring experience?

Ok so I just had my best Mini motoring experience EVER!
Story:
So I live in the souther bay area and I was on my way home from work yesterday cruising along and noticed a new blue with black stripes MCS behind me. I own an S with a highly modded exhaust and thought it would be cool to drive next to each other to say hello. This MCS pulls up next to me and it is not a guy but a extremley HOT woman! I am married normally would not do this, but this deserved it. I reached into my glove box as quickly as possible, grabbed my mini motoring sign that read "Hey Sexy!", that was given to us once we bought our cars, and slapped it on my drivers side window. She looked at me shocked, laughed, then pulled her sunglasses down and blew me a kiss. Doing all this while trying to not hit another car. Man if I was not married I would have pulled this girl over and hit off right there. Sorry guys I was not able to pull my Treo out quick enough to take a couple of shots of her, but if she is on NAM at all please contact me for the great MINI memory.

Just thought it would be cool to share what memories have made owning your mini the best experience you have had. Let me knwo I am interested to hear others. God there are some hot women that own Mini's. I did not know. Are Mini's the new Jetta for hot women?
Thanks

did you happen to write down the plate number? if so I can help you track her down
the other day I saw a Mini with a 'MIS MINI' plate, looks quite nice, didn't get a chance to see Ms. driver though since it's parked.

My best motoring moment wasn't in my Mini. My then girlfriend and me were driving in the hills in my Mustang a while ago. And she proposed. Now we've been married 5+ years and have a wonderful little girl!

Didn't even need no little sign!

Umm thanks Matt for making me feel like a low life. The point of the cheesy sign was for times like that.

I have not been an owner for that long but I have a couple of moments. The first is driving home from picking up my MCS. The second was a sunny weekend and I just got it washed and I was driving home. I was waiting @ a light and I was just getting going when I saw a chevy SUV headed in the other direction. I look to see the little boy in the front seat is waving and smiling at me. I can only imagine how he was shouting. It was cool. Most all of my MINI driving is on the tollway so I can't see stuff like this that often.

Going to an autocross, watching the smug/snickering looks of the Corvette guys as I pull up in my "cute little car", then watching theirs mouths drop when I turn a quicker time then they do!

I gotta say, since I live in a pretty MINI-sparse area there's still a huge novelty factor, so anytime I drive by some kids, and any one of them points, it's a ton of fun!

Everytime I start the engine, Driving a MINI gets better everyday, and I do almost what I can to make sure my last drive was my best drive. Its real hard not to have a smile driving Pearl, I nevr get more than a mile away from my house before I have an ear to ear grin on my face!

I have to agree! I was driving home tonight and still had a blast. I love the car, the driving and the whole MINI experience.

Had mine for 2 days and 250 miles and I found a real back-woods type street. It is way off the beaten path and runs along a river and so on and has some nice twisties. It was clearly a place not many had found (especially the [the next thing I say is not nessesarily an insult, but a description of the typical driver and vehicle type] ricers from Lafayette and Purdue campus) and I doubt anyone there had ever even seen a MINI before. I was driving down the road and slowed down for a small residential area where two kids where playing. A little girl gave me a peace sign and I smiled and waved back. Wow, it was so amazingly cute my heart just kind of melted on the spot. If that can happen in only 2 days of ownership who knows what is in-store for me.

I've only had mine for a week but have had some great experiences already.

The best was probably the first wave I got from another Mini within a few blocks of pulling out of the dealer the very first day I had the car. The whole delivery day was cool but that just made it perfect.

The second best was then when I was sitting at a light a few minutes later. A heavily riced Honda pulled up a few lanes over and the guy in the passenger seat was saying something to the driver and pointing clearly at the red JCW brakes I had. That moment I knew that no matter how much crap he put on that Honda it couldnt even come close to the mini!

Third was then pulling into my driveway after getting home and immediately have the mail carrier stop her truck and run over to see the new Mini.

much longer ago than I'd ever care to admit, one of the really hot girls in my dorm would use signs like that to pick up guys! Funny, she never used them on me!

I've only had my MINI five weeks now, and every time I take it out I have a great motoring experience. In fact I don't like taking my MINI to get to some place, which means I have to stop, park the car and get out. No fun.

I have had the joy of blowing off a tricked-out Trans Am at a stop light last Saturday before getting on the freeway. He then had to show that he could catch me, but then he slowed down again so I could pass. I think he just wanted to see my MINI or what that UFO was at the last light.
