R50/53 Going To Japan
Going To Japan
I'll be traveling to Japan next weekend. I'm curious if anyone knows of any MINI related shops or parts I should check out while I am there. I'll be in the Aichi province staying in Anjo and traveling to Takahama each day. I'm going for work (I work for Toyota)
so my schedule is not entirely up to me, but I should have an evening or 2 free. I know that there are 3 auto shops near the hotel I will be in. They are Yaiyakan, Montecaluro, and Yellow Hat. If anyone knows anything about them post here or PM me.
Thanks
Josh

If you make into Tokyo, stop by Bean's
It was a short 15 minute train ride west of Shinjuku Station on one of the JR lines that go west.

They've got a cool little shop inside with lots of suitcase friendly goodies and a lot of classic Minis outside. I picked up a little 1/130 MK-III classic Mini in PW/B, just like mine
Also, be sure to stop by MINI Roppongi. It's really easy to get to - it's in the Roppongi Hills shopping center.

The sales people at MINI Roppongi are really nice and the three of times I've been there, they've always handed me a bag of free MINI toys and goodies! Most of it seems to be for Japan only. Be sure to buy the cool key chains that I've never seen elsewhere and some phone straps.
Enjoy your trip!!
