We (Rspeed) carry many products from Japan and just today I got the first official turner Mini guide from Japan from our sistem company. This magazine (named New MINI Style Book) is almost a large catalog in size - but contains hundreds of pictures and info of some of the coolest mods I have seen to date for the new (and old) Mini.
We have the same kind of thing for the Miata as well (Called Road&Ster Magazine) - and keep in mind it is all in Japanese print, but what you get in nothing short of wonderful pictures of tricked out Minis as well as cool new products. This new Mini magazine is nothing like your typical "Boy Tuner" mag - the Japanese are wonderful at displaying their creativity for the automobile and most Mini owners in Japan seem to skew younger in demo (much different than in the states) - so the disposable income is much greater - even in a suffering economy.
Anyway, below I am posting several links of new companies in Japan that are tuning the new Mini. I will also attaching some pictures as well - keep in mind that these sites will be in Japanese and your browser may not decipher them correctly. You can also try using http://www.altavista.com for translation assistance - but usually comes out very weird, etc.
We may start to carry some of these products that you see below as well - so you comments and likes are helpful in us generating new global distribution channels for these cool items.
Sit back and anjoy....pictures first then links below to several companies.

Dear Rspeed-
Thanks for the links and the support for working with these sources.
I would be interested in Rspeed carrying some of these as well as some european parts. Problem is that sometimes these are very expensive options.
Having competitive prices or group buys, package deals and so forth are a big plus.

um... wow. The first good looking MINI body kit - those first two shots are great. Of course it's ironic that most of is *is* the original body kit. And those 18" s-lite like wheel are unbelievable (not that Chicago roads would allow me to have 18" wheels).
(side note) As soon as a company makes easy to install, great looking, good quality, reasonably priced real brushed metal inserts for the dash they will sell thousands. That is really one of the most glaring shortcomings of the interioir of the MINI.

So motorists can see me getting out of the car parked on a busy street. Safety first!

Good comments all - the one thing to remember is that it costs a lot of money to import any kind of item in from japan. While we have been doing this for some time, I am afraid that most of the items from Japan would simply be too expensive after you factor in shipping, duties and taxes (where applicable).
When we have an update, we will post it in the Vendor announcements section.

I know this all too well. I guess I'll have to stuff them in my suitcase on the way back from TAS. Didn't want to wait that long though.

>>From the land of the Ricer comes.....Surprisingly tasteful mods! WOOHOO!!
The cars that ricers usually make into ricers come from japan but ricers and all their bad taste come from AMERICA!!! Go to pepboys and you'll see where all these ricers actually come from. I didn't see any ricers when I was in japan, would a nissan skyline gt-r with a backwards spoiler count? Thats as close to a ricer as I saw. Theres cars there that would blow any import car here in the states outta the water.
Oh and I really like those body kits, I have a cousin that lives in Japan and he was telling me of all the fixied up minis he's been seeing over there.
