27 DAYS at the port of exit, and I guess only a day or two at the DIST. center... I'm not exactly sure because the Tracking wasn't fast enough I guess!

Mine arrived at the distribution center the same day it arrived in port and was only at the distribution center one day. It arrived at the dealership the next night (but my dealer is the closest to the West Coast port). Who knows why they hold onto some MINIs for too long- maybe just waiting for a truck to head out their way?

Well, according to MINI.com, my Cooper S arrived at the distribution center one week ago today, and still no word from the dealer. I'm in the Chicago area. I have no idea where the distribution center is, so I can't guess how long it should take to get to my dealer from there. I also have no idea what goes on at the distribution center, either. Like, if my car arrives there with a big dent in it, do they patch it up and then send it on it's way? Or maybe they use the FIFO (first in, first out) system at the DC, so the first car off the boat and on to the transporter truck (providing it doesn't have any big dents in it) is the first to head to the dealer. Who knows, maybe that's why some of you have experienced just a couple days waiting on the DC, while others have waited two weeks.
So, LuC727, my wait has been one week so far. As soon as I get a call from the dealer telling me to come get my MINI, I'll post with how long I waited. I hope you get what you want for your B-day!
