just wondering what problems you have had with your minis.

 

Don't ask....too many to count on both hands, but still love it...most of the time that is, laugh !

 

Waaaaaay too general a question! Every third or fourth thread on this site probably contains something that can be construed as a problem. Try to focus more, maybe?

I've ony had problems with cold start, a stuck seat, and a loose rattle in my trunk, otherwise my mini has been awsome.

 

Tons of threads with this in mind......just a rattle from where the sunroof controls are attached to the roof.

I love this car! My problem has become quite a problem. I got a belt squeak around 2000mi. Thinking it was minor but annoying I took it in. Problem w/pulley on supercharger...replaced supercharger. The next day the "Service Engine Soon" light comes on. Two more trips to the repair dept to fix problem and reset the light. They have had a very difficult time finding the problem and ordered several replacement parts. I am supposed to get it back on Tues which will total over 3 weeks in the shop for the 3 visits.
Should I be furious and expect Mini to do something to make this right? The repair dept has worked very hard to solve the problem. The cars are new and there are learning curves involved. Even the techs at Mini USA haven't been able to solve the problem.

Still love the car, can't wait until Tues (it's been in 2weeks this time).

Any opinions are welcome.

my windsield was leaking from the rear view mirror ops: ops: but besides that i have no problems. well i did have a windshield rattle but it dissapeared and that the windows dont go up automatically, just down

 

rattle at right door.. noise every where... one of my multfunction switch don't work..other than that.. car is good.. only 2000 miles..

 

Nav system had to be replaced already (by the way, I liked the English woman more) - now it doesn't get bright during the day - I think because I have running lights all day.

Cold weather start problems.

Rear latch does weird clicking thing when I press the handle - and that is the fixed version - before it just didn't open.

H/K radio has way too much bass even when bass is set to minimum I get that near waffling sound.

Navigation system voice will yell at you if you have your radio up at all - even if you set her voice to the softest setting.

I still love my mini girl, though! :smile:

 

My big huge problem..... you may want to sit down, because it's a painful one.... massive.... big big big.........

My left interior washer jet sprays the sunroof rather than the windscreen.
