I'll have pics in about a month or so. I ordered my Cooper'S' in Dark Silver with body colored roof/mirrors, and with the standard X-Lite wheels. Had the same problem as you. Could find any pics with that scheme of paint.
If you really want to see what it looks like, there are a couple of interactive websites that could help. Mini.ca, MINIusa, etc. But what I did was found a nice angled pic of a dark silver Cooper'S', downloaded image, copied it into a photoshop program, and detailed the car myself, with that paint scheme. So if you have a drawing/painting program on your computer, it's easy enough. The pic that I did isn't any close to being good, but it shows basically what it'll look like. I even painted the fender flares and black skirst around the bottom.

 

I ordered the same combo, and it should be here the first week of August. I will certainly post some pics as soon as it is received.

I went to my dealer today to test drive the s again. I think I do it evrey week now. They have a dark silver with matching roof. From far away it looked like a black roof. I didn't mind it from up close, but it's just not amini if you get the matching roof - but that's just my opinion

In Europe, the base model MINI One has body colored roof. Only the Cooper and S are available with contrasting colors. Since they don't sell the One in North America, you don't really have to worry about your car looking like the base model. I think the body colored roof looks really nice with some colors, looks plain with others. Sort of like how the chrome package makes more of a difference with some colors than others.

 

uh... i don't think a dark silver car with a dark silver roof is considered a "color combo". it's more of a "color uno"

I agree. Contrast baby! Contrast!

 

The dealer here only had a dark silver with black roof but he did have a true silver with body color roof and it looked good enough that I ordered mine in dark silver with body color (wanted a british racing green but it is not available)

Do you think that maybe next time you go there, you can snap up some pics close range, different angles, and full car pics with a digi-cam if you have one? I just ordered mine that way without knowing what it really looked like other than playing around with some images in photoshop. Thanx.
As for the white roof. I think I'd only get one with the Indi blue or the red. But I would need white wheels, mirrors and white bonnet stripes so it doesn't look out of place. I wouldn't even think about the black roof. But then again to each their own.
