R50/53 Pulley Installed by Randy Webb
Pulley Installed by Randy Webb
Hello everybody,
I recently had the M7 pulley installed by Randy Webb.
The service was great! Worth every penny. The install time was quick and the work was professional. It was nice to hang out and engage in Mini 'shop talk' while he did the work.
I'm glad to reconmend Randy to anybody interested in signing up for his pulley party.
Let me know if you have any questions.

My favorite is when he plays with people who have not seen it done...That pop sound as the pulley comes off the shaft and he looks all concerned and mutters something under his breath quickly diving his head under the bonnet trying not to laugh as the car owner turns white and runs to the car....then everyone hanging out starts laughing.
I've had the pleasure of having Randy visit my area twice this year and both times were very memorable.
1st time - 15% pulley, plugs and wires
2nd time - 0% crank, OCC and Springs
Randy is a great installer and a very friendly person. I especially like his test drives in your very own car

glad you like it dan, maybe you should try to get the crank pulley done if randy shows up around the bay area again. you really can't get service as good as his... and with complementary pizza too
. remember that guy with the brg mcs (forgot his name right now, ma bad) he really was having fun with his new crank pulley just outside of baybridge motors lot
.

Uh dat would be me
BBM is a great place to get work done. They even have their own "test track" right outside the shop.
It was also interesting to watch the maestro work. I think he said I was like the 689th pulley he had done. I think he could do them in his sleep.

Denver-area motorers (specifically, MINI5280.org club members) get to witness the "joke" played on unsuspecting owners during our club meetings (yes, we have half of our club meetings at Randy's shop in Littleton, Colo.). It's funny every time (at least for me).

Randy is a great guy and a awesome person ....
Ask him how he got the idea of the "Pulley Party"??? I like to bust his chops about this one.
Hi Randy !!!!! I'll be in Keystone this December on a vacation. Got a MINI I can borrow for the week to try my skills in the snow. Being from South Florida I never drove on the white stuff before so I figure you can show me a thing or two before you let me loose.

I guess this is what happens when a pretty gal shows up.

Thanks for helping me make up my mind about the pulley. Jim
And a BIG Thanks to Randy for being able to squeeze me in.

Yeah, I toppled pretty quick, didn't I ?Stopped off at the 76 station and put in a half tank of 100 this afternoon. Then did some rat-racing up on Skyline, Pescadero etc. Really can feel the extra punch.

DoubleNick: I don't know if Randy wants to *return* to Florida--he graduated from Embry-Riddle aeronautical university and seems to prefer the more rarified air of Colorado!
He's done over $5000 of work on my car on 3 separate occasions and you could say I'm pretty happy with the results... There's no doubt he's one of the smartest people working on MINIs today (and Lotus's as well,) but his personality makes him great to hang out with. I think his pulley parties are so successful in large part because of his willingness to give a tech talk every time he opens the bonnet.
I fear all his jokes are well known by now, but with new MINI owners coming on board every day, there'll always be opportunities for him to give others a laugh at relatively low cost to the car owner.
