lightweight

article say 2,420 pound wieght of the MINI S GP.... how is that with 18" wheels?

Isn't dropping 88 pounds not even close to getting to 2420 pounds?

My very informal/guesstimate calculations would be like

standard wieght of MINI S is 2679 with all options so less:

88 diet plan, losing say 50 pounds excluding sunroof, say 50 pounds for rear seats, say 15 pounds for aluminum control arms... and 10 pounds for xenon, 5 pounds for excluding radio, maybe 20 pounds saving losing the 17 inch heavy wheels with I assume lightweight 18 inchers.... that adds up to about 248 pounds

so my math says like 2679-248= 2431... wait, that is about right...

Who has weighed there cooper s with no sunroof, and lightweight 15 inch wheels .. for comparison...

More (and larger) pics...

Not crazy about the wheels or wing, but do like the body kit. Wonder what the premium will be on this package given the 2k production run?

Anybody has pics of the interior? Especially the rear seat (lack of) area.

I think I like the spoiler - I still havent found one that I really like though. The spoilers that I like from the side I dont like from the back, and the spoilers that I like from the back I dont like from the side. This one is good though. The kits pretty good too.

Those wheels suck terribly, but the performance is probably kick-***. Well, for a Mini anyway.

This thing has pretty much been chewed up and spit out over on www.motoringfile.com for the last couple months. You should head over there and check it out.
