Has anyone noticed the MINI ad in the November edition of Maxim magazine? It has a sticker that you can place on the door to your gas cap. The only problem is the sticker on the MINI in the ad doesn't match the MCS that I have and I was just wondering if the MC has a different door. Anyone know what's going on?

 

I haven't seen the mag, but know the Ad. There are actually 3 different ones and you are correct they won't work on a MCS, but they'll fit nicely on a Cooper.

I saw the ad. I think the particular magazine I looked at had the skull cover. The MCS gas cap isn't flushed with the body, how the MC is, so the ad doesn't work for the MCS.

 

what does the sticker look like?? is it a mini logo or some letters or what??

 

I like Maxim for this reason... they are in love with Mini!!

They always have the most inventive ads with Mini

Gorgeous cars gorgeous women... what more could you ask for.... besides properly fitting gas cap decals for the MCS

There just isn't any love for the MCS? If you didn't want to check out that thread then the designs are skull and crossbones, eight ball and bloodshot eye. I got the skull and crossbones.
