The order went out on my new '06 MCS today (Monday 24, Oct)... The dealer told me that I can expect it in 4 or 5 weeks (i live in NJ). How long did you all wait???

4 months...ordered it on December 04, received Late March 05.

 

been on a list 6 or 7 weeks now, and I was just told today that I can most likely expect a production number next week, putting me in for a mid january delivery. So that'll be a total of about 4 months.

 

6 weeks order to delivery for my '05 MCS. I ordered mid-July, and Giles was produced in August in one of those last '05 production weeks. Maybe they were in a hurry to get him out the door so they could get started on the 06's.

I figured he would get delayed for a week or two because he was on the boat while Hurricane Irene dawdled its way up the Atlantic ocean. Apparently not. As it was, I barely sold my old car in time. I got rid of it on Friday and left for Indianapolis to get Giles on Sunday morning.

 

My 05 MCSC was ordered on Oct.10TH of 04. It got into my hands on Dec. 10TH 04. Exactly two months. My wife ordered her 06 Royal Grey MC on Oct. 4TH 05 and it is currently going down the production line. My dealer expects it to be delivered around the last week of November.

 

1 month exactly from date or order to pick up.

 

10 months between Nov. of 2001 to Aug. of 2002

 

Aug 6th...still waiting.

 

I ordered mine from Morristown Mini on March 21...drove it home on April 15. I was able to spec it totally to my design. They said it could arrive anywhere between April 18 and May 1, but I got lucky.

ordered early september and still waiting. its been "en route" now for 2 weeks. so hopefully in another 2 weeks ill be motoring around. ordered from Otto's in PA.

 

:smile: I ordered early March of 2003 and got my baby end of Aug 2003.Six long months and well worth the wait.

 

My 04 - a week maybe... I picked it out built cars that were already on a boat
My 06 - 5 weeks

 

Ordered mine from Ottos in West Chester on 10/15. I expect to get it first week of december just to be safe. I'd say they are pretty right on... If it weren't for halloween and everything I'd think I could take delivery the last week of november. Where did you order? did they give you a production number? if so you can call 1-866-ask-mini and get an idea of the timeframe. good luck and I hope you fare better than I am during this wait

Almost 3 months. Since I ordered for Jan 05 build at 04 Thanks giving. The build to delivery time is about 5 weeks..

 

i feel i need to justify my 9 month wait now i wanted a 2003 model (ordered in 2002) wanted BRG color (began production in 2003) and also wanted Harmon Kardon sound (also began production late 1st qtr 2003)

 

You are very fortunate if it's only going to be a 4 or 5 week wait. I waited about 3 months which felt like approximately 22 years.

 

ordered aug 26th still waiting... should have it next week. that makes.. almost 10 weeks?
