Well...it wasn't this bad but I got a nice star this time I stopped at one of those parking lot work shop advertising free chip repair. It worked somewhat so now I'm contemplating dropping a ball peen hammer on it

 

Can't see the link but how did it happen? In most states now, you can get glass replaced with no charge to you insurance deductible.

 

I can't figure it out...I was entering highway and the only vehicle around was 200 yards ahead. Then I hear a thud and saw a black smudge dead center. Thought it was a bug because it didn't hit like a rock. I tried to wash off the smudge later and found that it was terminal

 

OEM or PPG?

Not to rehash the differences, but my PPG is holding up well, even after 62,000 miles.

Now watch, on the way home it'll crack.

 

OK, that picture is obviously a joke. Unless when you say terminal, you are not just talking about the windshield.

 

It's the original glass. I'm kinda half serious about just bustin it...it's so pitted up from 35k miles. The picture of the flying logs is from the "last picture I ever took" contest It could be worse...

Original windscreen on my '02 with 71,000 miles... Yeah, it's pitted and scratched... I can't bring myself to break it... and I'm too cheap to buy a new one... just waiting on Fate. (Hurry up, Fate!)
