R50/53 DiD Picture Post: Deer Creek Canyon
Dave, nice pics. I frequent this road on my motorcycle in the summertime. My DS/DS MCS is arriving at Schomp tomorrow. So, now I can frequent in the winter too. Unrelated question: how long did it from when Schomp received your car to when you received your car?

OwenO: I didn't buy my MINI from Schomp. I flew out to NYC and bought it from Lori Abrams (miniqueen on MCO) at Westchester MINI.
That said, it's my understanding the PDI (pre delivery inspection) is running a few days at schomp.

That's the impression I got from them. I couldn't resist going down on Saturday to see if my car was there. (It wasn't) I was hoping that I'd take delivery this week.... we'll see..

You don't know the address do you?
Great Pics Dave. I have yet to get myself and Priscilla out there to run Deer Creek although that is where I went on my test drive.
OwenO mine showed up in front of the showroom and was still there several days latter when I went in to tell them my dealer accessories. Once they had those it took them ~3 days to have the car ready (I think it varies on what you are having installed, I had the roof done and I believe they send that out)

Wow. Schomp has changed their test drive policy a little. Back in April when I test drove the Cooper and the S for the first time, we drove a rectangular route on surface streets around the dealership. I'm glad to hear you got a chance to have some fun on your test drive.

The sunset was amazing tonight.

Sure beats the NE winters I'm used to!
