Finalized my stage III build

I finalized my stage III build with my tuner (PEAK Motors here in Seoul) yesterday. Build will be: Kellener cam, pulley, ecu, Head work, Supersprint header and exhaust, Forge intercooler, PSS 9 coilovers, Ferodo brake pads. The Lil Red Rocket goes in the shop in about 2 weeks as parts are being shipped now. I will post pics, dyno, etc, when done. I can't wait . Don't ask me how much I paid

Ok Berk, step away from the enter key. The pleasure pellets are depleted.

Per Kelleners instructions larger injectors are not needed. I asked about throttle body and they said NO. So I will go with what they say. I just had an 1 hour conversation with my tuner today to alleviate any confusion on build. He stated...no throttle body and no injectors. He promised me over 60 whp on the build. Totally cool!!!! And I get a free track weekend to break it in once done,,,a $350 value for 2 days!!!!!!

There is no way you are going to make 240whp with the stock injectors. The stock injectors, at stock fuel pressure, max out at around 190-200 whp.

hey..I am just going by my tuners advice.,,,and the info he gets by personally calling Kelleners. If it don't happen my tuner is glad to do what it takes to make me one Bad *** Mini. We will just have to see the results. My tuner is excited to to the job and I am excited too. He is a good guy...has a pro shop...and he will do what he can to get my Mini to max HP for the $$$$. Afterall........when u do aftermarket builds it is up to who u have as a tuner and what he wants to do to make ya happy,

Has your "tuner" ever built up a MINI? If I were you then I would do your research before throwing money at your car. I would find out if Kelleners has even built a 240whp car. Or even a 200whp car. Talk to any of the tuners or vedors on this site and they will agree that you need bigger injectors for anything more then 200whp.

Also, what made you go with the Forge intercooler? I would say you are going to loose a couple of horses and pounds of boost. The edge of the intercooler blocks more then half the hood scope.

If you want that kind of HP from a kit talk to the guys at Mini Madness.

well...he has a 240+ tuner on his lot as a demo car with the almost exact kit I am getting minus the head work. The 2005 MCS 6sp he has will throw in u in the back seat. Hey guys...dont' be so skeptical OK. So I am using Kells.....guaranteed by BMW.....will have to see OK. Afterall this is an experiment build but will still be BAD anyway u look at it. Lemme do it........get the dyno and show ya OK.

Assuming a 12% drive-train loss, a stock MCS puts out about 150 whp, so you're looking at around 210 whp
