Well I original had a slot reserved for July... But it seems they didn't start until late August. I just got my order number last week, it was awaiting production.. Then I checked last night and it was awaiting transport.

I ordered my Justa on 6/9 and the status changed to 'awaiting transport' last week. Bet we'll be on the same boat!

Update: I've been assigned to a ship departing Southampton on 9/4. To check yours, see: https://www.2wglobal.com/webapps?url...uickSearchPage

I'll be on the Centaurus Leader.

Well miniusa has its status as " Enroute" but I see no way to track what ship or when it will be here? Any guidance is appreciated.

Ok. Left Southhampton on 09/20/15 on the Galveston Highway. ETA at Baltimore on 09/28/15 although dealer said Brunswick, GA is the port. Oh well, it's on it's way to the states. 😉 That's a good thing!

Jumped the gun on that one. After being two days out to sea on its way toward the states the Galveston highway turned around and went back to Southhampton. No clue why unless hurricane Ida was in the way. New proposed date is an eta of 10/08/15. Bummer!

I googled name of ship. Galveston highway tracking. Look for marine traffic website and click on it. Look for map on screen

Looked on Shipfinder and found the Galveston highway is back on its way toward the us.. Eta to Baltimore 10/06/15. I still think it is supposed to come into Brunswick, ga but that is not what is showing on the website. We'll see as we follow along. Beats sitting at anchor in Southhampton

At distribution center!!!!

ok so its at the distribution center.. I am not too sure where that is.. but im located in New Mexico, and will be picking it up in Albuquerque. The estimated time of arrival off of the site says 9/30/15.
How accurate is that?

Not sure which distribution area New Mexico is served from either. I think Baltimore handles Northern states and Brunswick, GA handles Southern States and not sure if there are other ports on the West Coast or at Houston or Galveston? Hey, you're definitely ahead of the game. Excited for you!

I'm picking up my JCW at ABQ as well. My distribution center is shown as Port Hueneme, CA (it was in code on my order sheet with my order number). Is the arrival you mention for the arrival at the dealer?

Yea, that date was for arrival to the dealer, Talked to my MA today and he is saying Saturday the car should be ready for pickup after the tinting and stripes are added. *Fingers Crossed*

Just got the first picture of the car. Small mess up though, it's supposed to have a black top and mirrors.. Hope this is a quick fix. Also JCW concept stripes, 20% sunlight tint and driving lamps to be installed before I pick her up Saturday. Unless it takes longer on the fix for the top.

I'd say that's a big mess up on the dealership's part for not verifying that. Also, they should've given you a production number so you could've verified the correct options on ol.miniusa.com or 1-866-ASK-MINI. Did none of that happen?

I'm also cringing they park the brand new cars on dirt. Are they too broke to pave a parking lot?

Ok those negatives out of the way, I'm digging all Chili Red and think you might consider rocking it as-is. I bet that nobody else has the cojones to do it. If you must have a black roof, have a high-end paint shop do it right [no Maaco crap] and obviously the dealership needs to foot the bill for screwing up your order.

Well they are talking about a black carbon fiber top with my black carbon fiber JCW concept stripes.
I'm going to see how it looks when it's done. Then go from there. I'm just worried it might be too much red?

By the way it's black carbon fiber wrap.
What are your thoughts?

If they use authentic 3M Di-Noc, then Go For It!

(because actual CF can't be "wrapped", it has to be laid up and cured like fiberglass. On top of that, actual CF has terrible UV resistance so it would fade in a few years.)

What you've got here is what I've been thinking about ordering as my intentions are to carbon fiber the roof. Maybe leaving a couple of inches of the red for accent. As for the fix, as you say, why not do something similar to what I'm going to do and had the roof wrapped. That way you can do something individual with the roof. Just an idea! And by the way, the roll of carbon fiber wrap I have is a wrap, not a solid piece of carbon fiber.

Man i would ask for a discount and make it seem your very disapointed because you waited so long to have ot done right by the manufacture and now their going to just spray over it unless, their going to take it to a good shop to do it the correct way. But all red does look good to.
