ASK MINI now says mine is "In Transit"...so I can assume it's on a ship. Since it is destined for California I can't seem to track it...but that is okay...as long as it arrives mid-June like my MA told me.

 

Hi everyone, my MINI is now in transit. It had been scheduled to be on the Morning Noble but on May 14 it was removed from the WW list. The goods news being. it looks like it got on board an earlier ship , the K-Line Frisia, due into SC on May 30.

Sorry I'm a little late to the game here, but here goes my configuration:

pw/b MCSa, pkg 1,2,3, web spokes, navi, hk, space, adrvm, plus a few other things.

 

K-Line Frisia ? I dont even see that ship on the site ? Is there another shipping dock or something?

Well, I mean 'Miles' is on the Manon.. going to arrive in the states 6/3!

 

Anybody scheduled on the JINGU MARU ? Hopefully I will get on this ship, my baby has been sitting at the port since the 19th. I was also wondering if anyon knew how long it takes from when it gets to the port to the dealer? I know it varies by location and all, but it is coming to the port on June 9th to Charelston SC and I live in Charlotte NC. Anyone have any ideas of when I can expect to stay up all night and drive the entire next day?

 

Ok So according to 866 ask mini, My baby is on its way. But, on the Wallenius Wihelmsen website I cannot see if my mini is on it or not. I never got around to writing down the booking #. Is that the only way to find out?

You can get your VIN# from the Owner's Lounge and then go back to the WW site at this URL: http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTrac...trackType=Auto and put your VIN in there. If you are on a WW ship, that should do the trick!

I have tried that before and now my vin# is not coming up. That was how I tracked my baby since it has been at the port for 9 days. I would check both the vin and the booking #, but now the site will not bring up anything from my vin #. I was just thinking that maybe because it has been loaded and is on its way that I am not able to see it anymore? Any Ideas?

 

That's curious...My car arrived at the port here in NY about two days ago and when I put my VIN in at the WW site, it's still there with the dates of all the steps -- right through "Discharged" after it arrived. Not sure what your next steps are...maybe they decided to ship it on that other carrier (sorry, not sure about the name...)?

Hmmmmm.......... Does Anybody know how else to track my baby? Which other shipping lines etc... I just want to know how much more sleep I am going to miss..

 

I am with Dinger, my mini is in transit on 1866askmini and the WW site doesn't work for me. Any other ways to track it?

Well, I guess I'll be among the first few to actually take delivery of a new MINI in June. Delivery: today (Wednesday June 1) 3pm.

I am about to take delivery of my MINI and am seriously considering cancelling the deal.
I have contacted my MA to hear his explanation.

 

I actually contacted WW in regards to my VIN not showing up after a while, they tracked my vehicle via the VIN in their system and with the booking number on the Jingu Maru. Apparently what happens is the "system is kind of flakey" according to them, and just doesnt sometimes show up on the internet.

If you are really worried, call whatever port your vehicle is scheduled to dock at and do the same, just give them the VIN and the ship name, they can tell you.

Well, My MCS arrived today at the port in Charleston SC and will be at the VDC on the 9th. Thank you Andes Highway!! Being that it was on the K line I could not track it, but it came in thru the Andes Highway on the 6th instead of the WW on the 9th.

I know this time frame varies, but does anyone know how long it takes to get from the VDC in Greenville, SC to Charlotte, NC? Anyone that has purchased a mini in the Charlotte area? Just a ? to put out there so I can get my butt ready to sit in my MCS for a full day of driving.
