DanielG's new MINI delivery (PICTURES ADDED)

My MINI arrived this morning at Crown MINI (Richmond, VA). I'm going to pick it up at 3:30pm today (Wednesday). Sadly, I will not be able to take it home. I've got a baseball game (I coach) at 6pm. There's no way I'm putting that dirty equipment in the car (yet). So I'll go there, take delivery, drive my old car back home, go to the game, go back and pick up my MINI.

The specs:
My 2005 MINI Cooper S
Dark Silver Body Color
Body Color Roof/Mirrors
Cold Weather Package
Premium Package
Limited Slip Differential
16" V-Spokes (All-Season)
Front Fog Lamps
Rear Fog Lamp
Xenon Headlamps w/Power Wash
Leatherette: Black
Int. Surface Anthracite
Anthracite Headliner
Center Arm Rest
8-Spkr. Harman Kardon Sound System

Plenty 'o pics tomorrow.

I sure do hope so. It's our last game of the season, before playoffs. We had a really good practice last night, so I'm hoping for the best. I must admit my thoughts won't be entirely there.

And, from now on, "really good practice" and "hoping for the best" will surely translate into "no foul ***** reaching the parking lot"... right?

Congrats & good luck!

haha you kidding. I could barely concentrate @ work for a week knowing my car was on a ship on its way to the USA.

Ha ha! That's right. Luckily the engineers of our fields and people running the league are smart. They put the younger players (machine pitch) on the smaller fields that point towards the parking lot. The kids rarely hit the ball over in games. Sometimes you'll find some older kids on the small field doing a Home Run derby, but they get pushed to other fields (without parking lots beyond the outfields). Even if one gets hit over in a game, the ***** are softer at the younger age levels.

Either way, the MCS will be parked far away from danger (I hope).

Trust me, I haven't been all with it lately. I've even been grumpy during the weekend because the holiday pushed delivery back a few days. I set my anger aside and respected the holiday.

i was going to have to wait 2 years before getting my mini. (what do you expect, i was 17 working 15-20 hours a week making almost minimum wage when i intially wanted one :P) but i ended up getting mine after seeing it a half year before planning to LOOK for a mini.

Great MINI's come to those who wait  (or give up and decide to buy one when the time isn't exactly right)

at last, pictures! Bad lighting + me taking the photos + nice camera = nice picture quality with poor cameramanship (is that even a word?).

All those close-ups of the xenon headlights made me envious. Sigh. Has the stubby antenna become a MINI option? Thanks for the photo album. Too bad it rained.

Thanks. But it didn't help.
I was sort of all set on a contrast roof, but now I'm rethinking.

The Anthracite dash definitely gives the interior a specific feel that's different from the silver.

Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Thanks for sharing and congrats.

Thank you. I went back and forth on the contrasting roof.
