I live on Lookout Mountain, Georgia, a couple of miles from a pretty well known hangliding spot. If you are interested in some Northwest Georgia twisties, PM me and I will provide you with some info./options. My work-week daily commute takes me up and down the mountain. It is quite nice in a MINI.

Rawhyde's suggestion is a good one. Beautiful, lightly travelled roads, and a few interesting potential stops - that is if you can muster up the will to stop driving! You could stop in at Cloudland Canyon State Park and see Georgia's little Grand Canyon East, watch some hangliders and catch some views of the valley lying between Lookout and Sand Mountains, in addition to several other possibilities, including some interesting dining options. I don't mean to sound obnoxious or like I'm gloating, but I truly feel extremely fortunate to live, work, and drive a MINI in this part of the State. The AtlantaMINIs have had a couple of drives up here, you may know someone who has done one if you haven't yourself.

Sounds like I'm going to have to try 193 - but but not sure I can go that far this weekend. I'm out towards Winder so to get that far east eats up a couple hours for me. I've missed the AtlantaMINI's runs up there, I'll try and hit them this year.
Think I'm going to try the Suches & Vogel area. I've done US 19 - (Blood Mountain) quite a few times but have never done the GA 180 or GA 60 section. Mapped out a small loop which should be a bout a 4-5 hour run. So hope the weather holds up.
Thanks - See ya at the Dragon!
