A Fiat 850? Gawd, you were a glutton for punishment! Me - TR6, Jaguar Fixed Head Coup and a few others I don't want to remember. Prince of Darkness was alive and well.

Now, back to the regularly scheduled thread already in progress.

Thank you.

Wow, gorgeous car! Congrats. My Cooper is my first new car, too.

Just a heads up on that union jack/checkered flag badge. I ordered the same one from the same source, and even mounted it in pretty much the exact same location as you. It looked great for about a year, maybe a year and a half, but then it quickly faded and then actually fell off recently, leaving me with a blob of goo that it's too cold to do anything with, and wondering where to get one that might be more durable, since they're so pricy. At least if you got a pair, you can keep the other one handy!

Good luck, and enjoy.

Thanks for the heads up! I was going to put the second one inside the car somewhere but now I am going to hold on to it incase the same happens to my car.

Today I just installed my second mod... PIAA 540 xtreme white driving lights. They look great and wasn't too hard to install. I had a heck of a time fishing the wires through the firewall for the switch. I had to cut a small slit into the rubber grommet to get it through. Also I dropped a locknut for the ground in the engine compartment.... Ooops! I will have to go to the hardware store tomorrow I guess. Tomorrow I think I will try to install my CAI from ProMINI. I will have pics up soon to show it off!

Aren't MINI's Great!!!

Hey, if you don't have to have a front license plate, how about getting rid of that lovely black rectangle of plastic? Not being an S owner, I cannot identify the mod(s) in your engine picture...

Lookin' Good!

Throw away that license plate mount and fill the holes with body colored plugs.

Sorry I have to keep the plate holder, It is VT state law. I am just waiting for my Plates to arrive (wow, Plates arrived at my door as I am typing this! Spooky!) in the mail.

As for the engine mod, it is the round chrome shield and filter for my cold air intake.
