*UPDATED* Pics of my very first new car...

I finally got to bring it home yesterday (has been snowing all week) and I still can't stop grinning! I have never owned a new car before, until now. What a way to start!

I Have just installed my new CAI from ProMINI, PIAA 540 Xtreme driving lights, and of course the british badge! This is so much fun!

Never drive with the top up!

If it's cold, then turn up the heat and wear more clothes!

If it's raining, then just drive faster!

interstingly enough, i actually WOULD leave the top down. I yearn very much to get a convertible(down the road) and i WILL be driving ALL THE TIME with the top down. Thats just the kinda person I am. Many say that you SHOULD, but I actually WOULD. MOTOR ON!

SWEET ride!

I know I don't have to tell you, but I will anyway - ENJOY!

(Ah, to be young again - my first new car was a 1971 Fiat 124 Spyder. I didn't realize at the time but Fiats had a nasty habit of starting their rust routine sitting on the show room floor! You had to have a sense of humor to own a Fiat...)

Goatherder, you picked a beautiful color.

Goatherder,

Great looking MCSC Just don't let it sit still while it is snowing or it will fill up

You didn't say how old you are but I was 25 when I got my first new car, it was a 1966 Chevelle. I thought it was great at the time but my MCS IS great, like no other vehicle on the road (except for the Mini)

I am 35 but I feel like I am 16 driving the MINI. My wife is 28 and has owned 3 new cars. In fact, she has never owned a used one. That's why we make a perfect match.

You can see in the background the beast I usually drive.

BRG Rocks

Great lookin car, best color IMO. Love the BRG/chrome and grey combo. You might want to consider painting some if the interior parts like the down tubes and door pulls in BRG. That’s what I did and the contrast it creates really sets off the interior, otherwise all that grey kinda washes out the interior.

I know the feeling. I'm 32 and just took delivery. First new car as well. Us late bloomers have to hit the ground in style. Enjoy it .

You can get them here: http://www.triple-c.com/New_MINI_Coo...ccessories.cfm

When you call to order them, ask if they can send the badge by mail. It was a lot cheaper. Total cost for 2 badges w/shipping was around $19. That may be a lot but only the best for my MINI (the wife is a little jealous )

RevLimiter - Your post brought back memories of when I was able to sit quietly in my garage and listen to my car(s) rust. Had a number of old Triumphs, MG's and yes, a Fiat 850.
