No MINI tonight

This is the first time since I got my MC 19 months ago it has not been sitting in my drivewayPoco is in getting a new tranny, and other things, and they could not do it all today.
The X3 they gave me is nice, but I miss my MINI
I can not see owning any other car, well maybe a turbo MINI

Perhaps this was well timed since you have been sick. Best wishes for a speedy recovery for when your MINI comes home.

I can assure you, that when you drive your MINI tomorrow, you're gonna be like "DAMN THIS CAR IS SWEEET."

Especially after driving a pos X3.

Up here the X3 is worth 65K CanadianNow not only is price a problem, but I felt like I was driving a jacked up high sedan, boringAnd when I did punch it in an icy parking lot,the back end wanted to come around, something Poco would never do
And my MC,no mods, except for mud flaps and an elbow landing device,
IS ONE DAMN SWEET CAR

You're right (of course).

Yesterday, I caught the stream about your being sick, as in ill, and assumed it was current. Now that I have examined the dates I see that you began the post December 15. Sorry for not having been more observant.

Apparently it was not fatal.

FYI the X3 can corner much better then you are giving it credit for. I took it out on a mini track, it's actually phenominal what it can do, based on what type of auto it is. The driver plays a role, don't forget this.

Poco is gonna do great Lot I had the tranny transplant done a year ago. I feel for you. Give him an extra coat of wax when he gets home, and he'll recover even faster:smile:

Poco is home, all tucked in for the night and I'm happy as a clam
New tranny feels good,no more noise, shifts smooth.
I had a lot of work done besides the tranny.New 05 outside door handles, new water pump,as I had been topping up the coolant about once a week, and the pump had a leak.I also paid for a block heater, which heats the coolant, not the oil pan,so the whole engine should be warm. The tech. also insulated the oil breather tubes so they won,t ice up and cause the dip stick to pop out and blow oil all over everything
The service dept. was closed when I got there,so no one could tell me if I got a Midlands tranny or a new Getrag.will phone tomorrow and talk to the tech.
Got the day off tomorrow,so Ruby and I are GOING MOTORING
