Third Brake Light Blinker Module?

Anyone ever install one of the aftermarket brake light blinker modules on their car? Thinking about picking one of these up from Amazon to install and wondering if anyone had already done this?

A couple options on Amazon.

Amazon Amazon
I replaced my third brakelight with an LED, so I would imagine this one would work.

Or..

I had one for years. I like it, but sometimes the people behind me don't like.

I was thinking about installing one a few years back and had some concerns about people behind as posted above. There was a module that had an optional setting to disable the flashing within a certain time when in stop and go traffic. I don’t remember the specifics but I’ll post it if I find the info.

I did't think about stop-and-start traffic. My concern is visibility in the land of giant ****ing pickup trucks. I don't care about whether people like it or not, that is not my primary concern - keeping this car until I die is. I don't like pickup truck *****, so they can deal!

The way people get set off over nothing nowadays, I thought the optional setting might good to minimize the chances of road rage or vandalism. I think the setting bypassed the flash if the brake was re-applied within 5-10 seconds or so.

I ordered the ore expensive, made in the USA one. I read through the questions and answers and there was someone who asked about stop and go traffic - and it does have a built-in timer preventing it from blinking within a few seconds of the last time it was set off. I'll add a write-up on the install when it arrives.
