How to verify / manually operate flaps in heater/AC box? No air conditioning flow.
Looking like AC flow is blocked. I think it's a internal flapper thing because, ultimately, there is no airflow in the glove box.
AC compressor clutch engages. Low side pressure drops to expected range when compressor engaged.
Only limited lukewarm air from vents.
Heat airflow works fine.
I don't know the internals of the air box but what it seems is that what ever the AC flap settings would be are not activating. I am making this conclusion since the glove box only lets in AC air and there is no flow in AC mode.
The lights on the interface seem to be acting as expected.
Ideas?
Thanks.

There are two completely different HVAC setups depending on what options the car had. Manual controls have three dials the auto AC has a LCD screen with one dial and it's known to have flapper faults and the arm on the right gets stuck
1) My arm moves. what other flaps can I check and/or operate manually to confirm flow?
2) ** Interestingly, my diagnosis "must be flapper because no AC in glove box" was faulty because the hose is missing from the HVAC box to the the glove box. I discovered this when looking at the lever functioning. now the port that goes to the glove box had flow in both hot and cold. is that normal? I remember only cold going to glove box.
SOLVED. Turns out more refrigerant solved the issue. I was within specs on the chart on the how to charge AC article on this group and about 5psi higher got the cool air flowing.

Good to hear it’s fixed.
Regarding the airflow into the glovebox, it’s controlled by turning the vent inside of the glove box, not by external flaps or settings. Air flows in when the vent is horizontaland twisting the vent 90 degrees so it’s straight up and down closes the vent.
