Vacuum leak at red clip on front of supercharger

I've been searching and searching for this answer. I'm chasing down various vacuum leaks the past few days. One of my connections was leaking connection at the rubber intake hose that is mounted between throttle body and air filter. Also found a one at the elbow joint of the FPR. Also Found one where the map sensor line clips into the back of the supercharger inlet pipe(ordered new black inlet pipe, could not get the red clip to seal air tight) and I found a leak at the pvc line that goes into the front of supercharger, I CANNOT get that red clip to seal airtight. I ordered a new clip for that as well.
is the pvc line going into the super charger supossed to be air tight?
I have a p01498 code( I think my vacuum leaks are causing that code) been going into limp mode with EML light for about a year now.
I replaced the bypass valve, serviced supercharger, new intercooler boots, green gasket, m7 CAI last year.

Are those red clips supossed to seal airtight?

thanks for the reply!!!
I think the clip isn't doing what it's supossed to do. I'm familiar with these clips, so I know how they work. Just wasn't 100% if they were airtight. When I blow air into the vacuum line and squirt soapy water on them, they SPEW bubbles. I literally can't get them to seal air tight no matter what. The lines clip in good and wont come out unless I release the line, but it still leaks.
hence why I've ordered new clips and inlet pipe.
just making sure I didn't waste money ordering this stuff.

what other possible things could cause the p1498?

Do you or anyone else have any input? Thanks in advance for anyone's time if they reply to my post! Much love!!

Update*

I've been looking at pictures online of vacuum lines actually plugged into the super charger(pvc line) and the map sensor (on back of charge pipe) anf there is a "lip" on the vacuum line. And I've noticed in photos that the "lip" is nearly flush with the red clips. Mine is not flush with the red clips. I've tried to force it in and it just seems like I'm going to break the vacuum line. It doesn't feel like it's supossed to go that far in. But I shall try and get the "lip" flush with the red clips right now. Will post updates.

I just replaced the supercharger on the GF's car, mine isn't flush either, but it doesn't leak at all.

Got it!

I got the vacuum lines to sit flush and no vacuum leaks!
I can't believe that a little clip and vacuum line would slow me down like this lol. I'm still going to replace my inlet pipe that way I don't have to worry about it later on. I'll probably throw some epoxy or something around the plastic welds.
I'll report back if this and other vacuum leak repairs cleared my eml codes.

They are supposed to sit flush, I got mine to seat flush with the clips today.
But hey if it isn't leaking, it isn't leaking!

Those are nasty. You push down on the red part to release the hose. Push the hose in, and when it hits bottom, pull up to ensure it is in.

Don't ignore the vacuum line that goes to the fuel regulator on the bottom of the intake. That's often a leak source.
