I don't like the white stripes on my '06 R52....I'm going to change them to silver....however, I might want to do something other than the two that are on the car now....I have seen many other designs on these hoods, either factory based or aftermarket styles.....

I need some ideas guys....post up hood stripes for me to look at...I don't care what color the car or the stripes are...just need some ideas for my car

I did this... using 3M 1080 in 'sterling silver'. Super easy as this stuff has the microholes to let out trapped air bubbles. I think they are discontinuing the 1080 - 2080 seems to be the new stuff. Lots of colors. Wish they had a darker silver in matte.



Although, this design is *really* growing on me. I'll wait until I pull the hood and repaint it. But man, I do like how this one looks.

Are these set up this way with the red edge, of did you add that with pinstriping vinyl tape? Either way, they look great!

The black stripes are actually factory installed. I added the red pinstripes.
