i have a ss/ss and want to put either a single or double stripe on. the only colors that i have seen is either black or white. i know it is a difficult color to work with so any suggestions would be welcome. will be custom so with or without accent pin stripe is ok.

 

I have the same combo and have held off putting on stripe because I've been toying with many variations and personally I like a stripe w/pinstripe,just can't decide color.The s.s. has a champagne color to it so I even thought of a dark brown w/burgandy pin stripe.I'd like to see other s.s. pics to see what they've done and make some decisions from there

 

I would buy some colored paper or something and just trim it kinda like a stripe and lay it on the car. Step back 20' and have a look..
even if you have to tape a few pieces together to get as full size effect..

 

Black all the way.

If you have an MCS go with the sport stripes. If you have an MC go with the bonnet stripes. Sport stripes do not look good without the hood (bonnet) scoop.

my wife is pushing for a 12' wide checkered (2" checkers) with thin red pin stripe ,full front and back but not the roof as we have the sunroof. we have flat black r105 wheels so she vetoed my desire for flat black edged in red saying she wanted more " POP"

 

When we do stripes/graphics on the roof it is cool to just run it over the sun roof
and it gives you a cool shadow effect on the inside when driving in the sun...
Imagine checker shadow on your interior as your driving..

 

if both the black and white checkers are vinyl and not perforated i don't see any light coming in through the checkered area
