Free* eBay aluminum coolant tank.

The tank has been spoken for!

in the spirit of giving back to this very supportive forum, I would like to see this tank find a new home inside an R53 engine bay.

if you’re in need, here’s your chance. Prefer local (SF Bay Area). If you’re the first the respond and you need to ship it, we’ll need to figure out the shipping costs. Continental US only.

Comes with cap. Only used for about 2000 miles.

Did you have any issues with the cap leaking or anything , I been wanting one of these for awhile but been hesitant. Always nice to get rid of the ugly stock tank.

Cooper48 got the jump on it, didn't see FankName untl later...Sorry.

As for the tank, due to the design, the cap will bleed pressure. You need to run a line off the neck so that the excess pressure exits via the rubber hose. The hose attachment that threads onto the neck is included so just source a small hose to redirect away and it will be fine. I chose to use a different tank that uses the OEM cap. Either way, you need to check the coolant level periodically no matter what tank you have.
