Will I have to adjust my window when I replace my window regulator?
My driver door window has been making a crunch sound when I operate it lately and I know that means the window regulator is about to fail and possibly leave my window in the down position. With the summer temperatures we regularly experience here, driving with an open window would really, really suck.
So I've got a new regulator coming from FCPeuro. With the frameless window design of our cars, will I have to adjust the regulator in the door so that the glass sits properly in the seals when the door is closed? I have lots of window regulator replacement experience and I found that most frameless designs require adjustment, which is something I'm not thrilled about doing.
I'd like to hear any tips from anyone who has done this job before so I can be prepared for the job.
Thanks in advance!
