It is probably a problem with either your window motor or your window regulator. Also, have you checked your fuses?

Are you able to put your window down? If your window is able to be put down, try holding your window switch up for five seconds, this resets the window memory that tells the car where all the way up is located...

Any way, I'll be glad to try and help you out some more with a little more information!

So if the window doesn't move at all I should try this before condemning the regulator? I can hear the motor clicking the window just won't move.

if the window just clicks, it sounds like the regulator. One thing you can try doing is taking your door card off, and pounding (I know that it sounds sort of terrible...) on the small area below the small speaker and your door handle; that is right where the motor and the cable pulley are located. (There should be three gold screw heads in the area that you should be pounding on.

Unfortunately, just this week, when it has been getting really hot and my car has been sitting in the sun, my window hasn't been very happy a couple of times, and just did the clicking gig. Luckily, with a good pound it was fixed and hasn't bound up again....

If the pounding doesn't work, then I think that you may have to replace the regulator.

I've been thinking it's the regulator but I was just thinking "well maybe it's something else". I was mainly trying to fool myself so I didn't take the door apart tomorrow morning and whip out the ol DMM lol

I would try hitting it, but the thing is it's stuck up, I don't want it to get stuck down haha

they're not too expensive, especially for the size of part, plus, they are normally in stock at your local dealer!

A least the regulator is better than the motor crapping out!

Chase -- Those are some cool tips. Thanks!
