I was wondering if we have any other Dinan S2 owners out here?

 

It was a hack company with a ***** body kit and wack tune. There is absolutely nothing impressive or special about them other than some fool bought a overpriced mini new. A 15% car would just dust it. They are about as special or desired as much as a mc40

They sold less than 50 of these if memory serves. Nobody cared again just like the Mc40 and hell I have one of those and yup nobody cares. Im sorry thats not helpful but these cars where sold to semi wealthy old white people. Most of them are likely dead and their kids sold them off for pennies on the dollar. The honest truth are they are nothing really special. Like I said a 15% pulley car would out run them and a car with a bvh and pulley would make it seem like it was parked.

The bottom line is you bought a r53. There is noting really special about it other than its a rare thing it has a complete history. Its not worth a cent more than any other r53 in comparable shape. Just like my low mileage 1/1000 mc40 is not worth a cent more than another comparable r53

 

Well no its the aero kit the point is you wont find many of these because they just is no market for them. Expert opinion no not at all but that lack of these cars says it all. I dont care what you think. I didnt pay for the over priced ride. I did that on my own with all the go fast bits!

The software is also rubbish and dangerous. But you will find that on your own when your ringlands are shattered. I mean you posted looking for a used DT BPV so I guess that says it all and most of your threads are you talking to yourself. You should Join Mini Unfiltered and ask away lol

 

If you looked at my posts perhaps you would notice I'm happy to help where I can rather than irritate. As for the DT bypass if someone had one love to buy it or a new BPV so I could compare spring rates. I would rather learn about things rather than spout about my vast knowledge with no practical experience. "Well no its the Aero kit??" Well no its actually a Hamann kit.. Clearly you have decided I will be the victim of your evening rant... Wish I had that much free time.

What exactly does the dinan offer extra ? I like the body style it has very much.. So it's like a dealer option performance kit ?

Oh goodie our resident expert is back on the interweb..If you have the data to back it up POST IT. Yes the Dinan kit was a dealer installed option.

 

I think I was reading that too. There were 2 out there that were problematic . I wonder if that Dinah tune is strictly a 93octane tune.

 

The timing is well over 20-22 degrees at the top of 6k. The tune file was posted before but its really dangerous up top. There were a few posts about it when it was released. Would need to dig on motering alliance or mini torque to find it. I am sure the knock energy is well over 150 as well.
*edit* if I remember right the madness tune was also based on this to some degree which is notorious for one and done dyno runs.

 

Perhaps if you're trying to get your post count up you should try doing it in a more constructive manner....
