Help with wheel color

I have a 2005 Purple Haze R53 and I want to lower it with coilovers. I like the Rota Grid wheels. It seems like they have a lot of version, like the V etc.?

I'm temped to go with a gold wheel on the car, but also thinking gun metal gray may be more subtle.

Any advice on the Grid version and wheel color and where best to purchase them would awesome!

If I might make a suggestion. Before spending money on wheels, make sure that your car is 'up to snuff' mechanically. If you are not familiar with MINIs, find a local garage and get an inspection. May save you a lot of money and aggravation.

Yes, I had it checked out. I also have all the paperwork history since new. Surprising how much maintenance the car required over the years.

That's great. Best mods for the buck are cold air intake, 15% pulley, and a heavy duty rear sway bar. After that, the sky's the limit.

Car has 57K miles on it. Definitely want to lower it. Having a tough time deciding on what color Rota Grid would look best with the Purple Haze exterior paint.

YOUR car, YOU have to look at it every day, should be YOUR choice for the wheel design and color..!
Then there is always the "repainting" option, if you hate the color you chose.

I'm pretty set on the Rota Grids. Don't know the difference between all the variations of the wheel though. Color is still up in the air. Open to suggestions.
