R50/53 Top of exterior a pillar

Top of exterior a pillar

Anyone know where to find the small black piece that covers drip molding on the passenger a pillar on a r53???? It's like finding a damn unicorn.

Yeah, mine has been missing since I got her, could be the reason my remote doesn't unlock the car, the BCM is on that side of the car......

It is part of the roof molding. Item 10 in link below.

For some reason they get old and fly off. I replaced mine with one from a junkyard and it too flew off. Next step is to buy the entire piece.

Your link is the Mini Dealership in my neighborhood, it's where I get my wheel alignments done....

Thanks for the link to genuine Mini parts. I feel cheated. My humble Mini has just a single clutch.

Apparently there are Mini's with dual clutches. Shocking!

It shouldn't be able to fly off.
Half of the roof molding is screwed in place (5 in total), the other half is clipped onto the car.

I have extras, but you'll either need to re-use your clip or buy a new one. I put a bit of silicon on mine before snapping it in this time to help hold it. PM me if you want one.
