Exterior A-Pillar gap problem....

Does anyone know if there is a trick to re-installing the A-Pillar. The guys who replaced my broken window cracked the Drivers side A-Pillar so I got a new one, but I'm not sure if it's snapped in correctly as there is a gap of about 1/8" between it and the top trim.

Are there any tricks to installing it or do you just snap it in and then put in the screws.

Thanks in advance and any pics on the install would be great....

Had a similiar issue but my A-piller scews eyes were both broken when the glass installer removed the rubber trim. The installer pointed it out to be before he even touched the A-piller. I think there are 3-4 insert points on the back of the A-piller that have to be matcher to the correct holes in the car frame. After that it will push right in and then it screws down with two small screws. Just be easy on the screws since it is plastic.

Should be pieces 4, 6 and 7.
