All of the Mini dealerships have been like that for me. In fact, I find it more of a trend in European car dealerships. Makes you not want to go back to buying an American car, with the salesmen salivating over your sale and the general lack of incompetence amongst salesmen and management.

Congratulations on your new MINI, I know you are enjoying.

I hope you can stop by the Cotswold Starbucks on Saturday between 8:00am and 10:00am.

Great news Kendel!!! Glad you enjoyed your dealer experience...that's very encouraging. Now if we don't hear from you for a few days that's perfectly understandable because you really should be out motoring and getting acquainted with your new MCS. If you need a break from all that constant smiling, yeah, do report in!!! Hope you're having a blast!!!

I certainly enjoyed picking up my MINI... you know, it could be that a factor was paying msrp!!!! Ya know... other cars I've bought, I pushed so hard to get the price down, some of the fun had left the experience... lack of trust in the salesperson, had to be a big part of it. All that was left out of the MINI experience... Mmmmmm... pay more, enjoy more!????

Godspeed.

I made a point of stopping by Flow Mini/BMW + whatever else they sell, on my way from Ohio to the beach in August. They had received a delivery of 20-25 cars on Friday-Sat, I was in hog heaven, thinking I could drive one home, they were all sold.

We met with Joe Yoder, he give me the bad news about all the cars being sold, but regardless he was a great guy (originally from Ohio). I got a very good feel about the dealership, he said management is driven to provide a friendly environment and a down to earth buying experience, it sounds like that's what you experienced.

I have sent Joe a couple of emails since then, he has promptly responded.

I hope my "Motoring Advisor" back in Ohio continues to do the same.

Good luck, enjoy your car, we are.

Kendel72,
I couldn't agree with you more about Flow. I purchased from them in March and couldn't have asked for a smoother transaction.
Prior to buying, I was reading about the nightmares others were having, being treated poorly by their dealers and became concerned.

Everything was perfect @ Flow. Joe Culp, my MA, nicest guy to deal with. Very accommodating with my additional "Test Drives" during the wait process. They've got a 1st class operation going.

Hope to see you @ a future M2C2 event.
BTW, your car looks great. Enjoy and have fun Motoring.

I walked into the dealership after many months of feeling out what I wanted,on-line,talks with the MA at my dealer, and the car I wanted was sitting there,no miles on it,day after it had showed up at the dealership.
Took the car out, came back, bought it,and the next day it was mine.
If there is a next time,I will probable do the same thing. Don't like to wait
