A night hard to forget!

Well I would like to share one of the best experiences I’ve lived and well it is because I’m in the Mini world.

It all started last Wednesday when a messenger delivered at my home a little envelope. When I opened it I saw an invitation it said:

CLOSED! You love to explode and you are always open to new experiences

Will you discover why you are one of our special guests?

In the inside it said:

You are always OPEN to listen to good music

You open your feelings and can be as hot as fire or as cold as ice

You accept openly that you like lemon daiquiris as much as congas

You close the doors to what others say and you are as flexible that you can wear a denim jacket and sandals at the same time

At the last page:

You will be frozen because it is hotter than ever!

It had enclosed 2 tickets, they said: Personal and one address

At that point I was guessing what it was about; Mini was inviting me to the presentation of the Mini Cabrio in Guadalajara Mexico.

Yesterday it rained like crazy, all the traffic was awful but I was not going to miss this, I drove for about 45 mins (a usually 20 mins ride) It was and industrial warehouse in one of the edges of the city. Big reflectors in the outside, lots of min coopers on the parking lot, lots of rain. In the inside all the place was filled with fog. At the entrance there were 7 different Minis, Salt, Chili and hot chili 2004 and 2005 models, sunroofs and regular roofs different colors, silver, blue, green, yellow and red. Then I walked to the entrance of a more private area, still fog in the air and lots of lights and lasers, big screens techno music playing 4 cars covered, for 2 hrs everybody was talking about this, how good the music was, the drinks, the environment. I talked a little with the Mini sales manager in Guadalajara about the extremely nice event. With the time the beat was increasing, also the volume in the music. The videos on the screens were more from graphics to actual minis in action. Well around 23:10 hrs the sales manager took the mic and thanked everybody for being there also he said “we are here to introduce to you another Mini member we hope you like it” in that moment 4 nice looking ladies uncovered the cars four 2005 Mini Cabrios where there the roofs were removed and the music was louder Obviously I wasn’t going to waste time, I jumped in one of them, Men, this car is great, the details inside are the best, (it is a shame I bought my Mini cooper S on Feb. or I would buy this now) then the brought food for everybody and the night continued for about 2 more hrs I was able to see every detail in the car!

I had to share this with everybody! And say Congratulations Mini de Guadalajara! This has been the best event I’ve been at this city!
