Ok fellow owners of these now "Collector's" colors, please post your favorite pics for everyone to enjoy!

Now you belong to a very special "elite" of MINI owners with the most "rare" and "Sought after" colors.

I've got a question. Say I wanted to get the aero kit installed, would it still be available in the indi blue color at the dealer? Or say I needed paint work done or something similar, do the MINI dealers still support the colors they discontinued? I'm just curious, I sure hope they would.

Nope, if you get any damage your car must be repainted pink, no matter what.

Yeah- I'd like to see some of those Velvet Red, I think I would have liked it! I never looked much at mini's until about a month before I ordered mine. For some reason my DH thought they were much much more expensive. Maybe because they were parked at the BMS/Lexus dealer.

They blew Velvet Red. If they'd offered a rich carmel/tan top and tan interior it would have been fantastic...I saw one with black top etc..and while it was nice it didn't pop like it would with a more complimentary set of colors.

Yep, Here is my 2004 MCS IB/W "Dobby." I've since had driving lights put on him.

I'm sure I'm bias, but I love the IB so much more over the HB or PH or CoolB. Had I gotten a 2005? I probably would have gotten red.

I saw a VR/B with black/tan leather interior when I was looking at some used MINIs. I'm probably in the minority here, but I thought it looked pretty sharp!

Dirty, dirty IB/IB MCS that does double duty as commuter/SUV killer. On H&R springs, pre-camber correction a la RDR adjustable lower control arms out back.

FWIW I really don't see that much difference between IB and HB, though HB looks to be perhaps a little more boy-racer.

Here is my 2003 Velvet Red Cooper and I just love it...

My best friend owns a body shop and a good body shop can match any color, we are getting ready to customize with some VR add ons.....

Those are beautiful shots! The VR is lovely in the fall.

The "powers that be" at MINIUSA must have been smoking crack when they decided to discontinue that color!

The Indy Blue was/is a nice color. Too bad they are discontinuing it. Hope they don't come out with a "lava orange" replacement for future models.

you must not have seen the orange on the MINIUSA 05 configurator...

My velvet red/black combo fits me to a "T". I am starting to think I might want to move up to an MCS so will have to adjust "me" to another color combo. . Fully expect, though, that the joy of motoring in a new mini will ease the pain:smile:

I'm wondering if anyone has put stripes on thier velvet red? The VR/B combo just doesn't seem to me to invite stripes, but I'd love to be proven wrong. If you have pics, please post 'em!
