The Mini Cooper Service Manual for 2002-2004 models arrived on my doorstep this very day! Bentley said it would ship in September, and they weren't kidding! 8 months of waiting finally over! Time to modify!!!!

No page numbers (it's a true service manual), so I can't tell you how many pages, but I can say it's two inches thick (I measured it) and softcover. Lots of pictures with arrows, and cross references all over the place, remenicent of the TIS software. Includes wiring diagrams, ODB-2 codes in three tables based on when your car was made (1/1/2002 to 8/31/2002, 9/1/2002 to 1/10/2003, and from 1/11/2003 to present). Sections as follows:

0 - General data and maintenance
1 - Engine
2 - Transmission
3 - Suspension, steering, and brakes
4 - Body
5 - Body equipment
6 - Electrical systems
7 - Equipment and accessories

I'm not an experienced mechanic, but if you plan on modifying your beloved Mini and keeping yours as long as I'm keeping mine, I'd consider this a worthwhile investment. Now I can really start playing! :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile:

amazon.com is selling them for around $70 other places are selling it for close to $100. :smile:

 

LilOleCar: May I ask where you bought yours from? I've had mine on pre-order from Amazon for many many months, but I just checked my status yesterday and it says nothing about shipping-in-process.

Ordered mine directly from Bentley earlier this year for $99 + shipping. Compared to the $500+ I had to pay for my 944 shop manual, this was basement bargain price.
