I have a question for you guys. I recently bought my wife a 2006 Mini Cooper S. Some of you may have seen my other thread. It has some aftermarket taillights that I hate! I want to go back to an OE taillight on this car. My question is this, is there any year taillight that will fit this car that looks any better that the actual '06 OEM tails?

 

You could go with the earlier year R53 taillights below:

This might sound like a dumb question - but if you use the earlier R53 lights, where do you put a reverse light?

 

Right above the exhaust (on S models) in the center of the bumper.
